Family mediation
It is said that the worse hostilities come about between family members than between strangers. The state of being a relative cannot be avoided. Issues that lead to negative feeling towards each other, poison the relationships and may seem irreparable. All those involved with divorce cases e.g. lawyers, psychiatrists, psychologists and social workers are familiar with the often-horrible accusations, aimed at each other, that are beyond logic. In many countries there is pressure from the courts to solve family disputes through mediation. This will also be the case in Cyprus, with the pending Family Disputes Mediation Law.
